About Our Mediators
Mediators are trained to deal with emotional situations involving upset and anger. Family Mediators understand that clients are dealing with complex financial issues and difficult emotional issues.
Kevin Dobson and Alexandra Stephenson are both Collaborative Lawyers and accredited Mediators. Kevin is also a qualified Hybrid Mediator.

Alex Stephenson
Alex qualified as a solicitor in August 1998 after completing her training contract with Norton Peskett Solicitors. Alex is from a farming family and has lived all her life in Suffolk and has very strong roots to the area.
She has over 20 years experience specialising in family law and is an accredited specialist of Resolution in the disciplines of advanced financial provision and domestic abuse. Alex is a trained collaborative lawyer and a Resolution trained family mediator. Alex is an accredited mediator registered with the Family Mediation Council and deals with Family and Shuttle Mediation.

Kevin Dobson
Kevin joined the legal profession at the age of 19 and became a partner at 29. He qualified as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1991 and as a Fellow of the Institute in 1993. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996.
Kevin qualified as a Collaborative Lawyer in 2011. He is a Family Mediation Council Accredited mediator. Kevin has also trained to provide Hybrid Mediation.
He has spent his whole professional life in the North Suffolk and South Norfolk areas He was a keen rugby player until he “stopped bouncing and started breaking” but he still follows the game from the touchline. He plays the guitar, ukulele and Banjitar. Badly.
